Creating a mind body connection is one of the most important lessons we can teach ourselves in this world. To have a mind body connection entails one being able to really be in tuned to what the body is feeling, thinking and craving. This is an extremely hard task to accomplish as our daily routines are filled with so much internal and external noise, but with practice, patience and determination a sense of mindfulness can develop. We must connect with our breath, listen to our internal thoughts and not let our "monkey minds" get the best of us. We must try to enjoy every moment and fill our days with little things that bring us joy. The ability to be mindful enables us to be mentally and physically fit so we are able to tackle what life throws in our direction.
